My name is Steve Wood. I've been a hobbyist all my life, and more specifically, an R/C boater since 1979. As Toolmaker by trade, I have always made a number of my own parts when I needed something different, or didn't like what was available.

My son Chris, has been an R/C'er since he was old enough to hold a transmitter. Chris and our buddy Wally Marsh (The Wallster) will be building the Blackbird, and I'll be furnishing the hardware.
