Anti-hypoxia and anti-fatigue effects of water extract from pummel pericarp

摘要: 观察了柚皮水提液的耐缺氧与抗疲劳作用。以小鼠为研究对象,随机分为正常对照组、柚皮水提液小剂量、中剂量和大剂量组,连续灌胃10d。采用断头缺氧、常压耐缺氧及负重游泳等实验方法,观察小鼠断头后张口呼吸时间、常压缺氧存活时间及游泳存活时间。结果发现,1g/mL和2g/mL柚皮水提液能明显延长小鼠断头后张口呼吸时间和常压缺氧存活时间(p<0.01),显著延长力竭游泳时间(分别为p<0.05和p<0.01),明显提高肝糖原和肌糖原含量(p<0.01)。柚皮水提液具有提高小鼠耐缺氧和抗疲劳能力的作用。Abstract: Anti-hypoxia and anti-fatigue effects of water extracts from pummel pericarp were observed in this experiment. Mice were randomly divided into four groups:normal control, pummel pericarp water extracts lowdose group, medium-dose and high-dose group, and given corresponding solution intragastrically for 10 d.Hypoxia tolerance under decapitation or normal pressure and loaded swimming test were conducted to observe the gasping duration after decapitation, survival time in normal pressure anoxia and swimming endurance. Results revealed that water extracts from pummel pericarp at 1g/mL and 2g/mL could significantly prolonged gasping duration after decapitation and survival time in normal pressure anoxia (p<0.01) , improved swimming endurance (p<0.05 and p<0.01 respectively) , increased liver glycogen and muscle glycogen content (p<0.01) . Water extracts from pummel pericarp exhibited excellent effects on improving hypoxia and fatigue resistance.
