Iron deficiency remains a major global health problem, the development of iron-fortified food is an effective interrupt measurement for the prevention and resolution of iron deficiency. In this article, the types and the characteristic of iron nutrition enhancer and recent study of its techniques were presented for the thorough comprehension of development situation of iron-fortified food. In addition, the application prospect of iron-fortified food would be predicted to provide new ideas for the promotion of nutrition taken and the improvement of healthy standard all over the world.
