Abstract
The extraction kinetics of polyphenols in Honeycomb was described by the pseudo-second order kinetics model. Parameters of initial extraction rate (h) , The total polyphenol concentration equilibrium (Ce) and Extraction rate constant (k) were predicted by functional module of Software Origin 8.0. The relationship between Extraction rate constant (k) and extraction temperature (Ta) was expounded by Arrhenius formula.Kinetics models were established to calculate the time-variation total phenols content (Ct) at t minute.These mathematical models were reasonable and reliable which could fitted the extraction process with different extraction parameters, including raw material particle size, extraction temperature and ratio of solvent to solid.The activation energy of the extraction was determined as 9.26kJ /mol.
